Sangeet Kaur's journey into the world of music began at the tender age of 8. Her passion for singing led her to study music performance at the University of Toronto. After gaining years of experience as a singer with Canada’s first professional chamber choir, she joined the Guru Ram Das Ashram in Toronto in 1978, becoming a student and teacher of Yogi Bhajan. Today, Sangeet Kaur is widely recognized as an accomplished singer and recording artist. Her recordings of Sikh Gurbani Kirtan have become classics, and have been praised for their healing qualities. In particular, her rendition of Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru has touched the lives of many, eliciting countless letters and testimonials of gratitude. Sangeet Kaur retired from her professional career as a Speech Language Pathologist for children at public schools in northern New Mexico in 2016. Since then, she has been tirelessly serving her local Sikh community, mentoring others to find their own true voices and pursue their passion for sacred and inspiring music. Her unique style of Western, Mantras, and Kundalini Music has garnered her a dedicated following. Through her music, Sangeet Kaur aims to inspire listeners to connect with their inner selves and achieve inner peace.
