S. Guru Fatha Singh Khalsa is an author, speaker, and instrument of change.

Singh Sahib Guru Fatha Singh Khalsa is an author, speaker, and instrument of change. He has written several authoritative books and published many transcripts and recordings of the empowering teachings of Gursikh Yoga conveyed by Siri Singh Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji (aka "Yogi Bhajan") in his historic mission to the West. Guru Fatha Singh is also involved in ground-breaking research into the transformative effects of Kundalini Yoga on practitioners' health and well-being.

Guru Fatha Singh's works include a defining account of the global transformation of consciousness embodied by Guru Nanak and the Sikh spiritual tradition, entitled Five Paragons of Peace: Magic and Magnificence in the Guru's Way. To answer questions of religious integrity about the practice of yoga in the Sikh community, he also researched and self-published The Essential Gursikh Yogi: The Yoga and Yogis in the Past, Present and Future of Sikh Dharma. These, and many of his other published works may be accessed or ordered at www.gurufathasingh.com.

Recognizing the need in an age of scientific enquiry to provide verification for the practice of Kundalini Yoga, and being blessed with an extraordinarily hard-working and dedicated friend in Dr. Farah Jindani, Guru Fatha Singh conducted the first global survey of students of Yogi Bhajan in 2011. He also supported Dr. Jindani's 2012 study on the effects of an 8-week trial of Kundalini Yoga on sufferers of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and subsequently co-authored two scientific papers with her. With Dr. Jindani's support and assistance, Guru Fatha Singh conducted a Kundalini Yoga based training for mental health workers and yoga teachers dealing with sufferers of PTSD in Frankfurt, Germany in 2017.

Guru Fatha Singh has presented at numerous conferences and symposiums, including the International Sikh Research Conference at the University of Warwick. His talks and poetry are readily available on YouTube

Guru Fatha Singh has been a member of the Toronto Sikh community since 1972, participating in numerous youth camps, Gurmat programs, and Nagar Keertans. In 1985, he was ordained as a "Singh Sahib," a member of the Sikh Dharma International ministry. He currently serves as the Sikh chaplain at the University of Toronto.
