Kavita Seth is a name synonymous with Sufi music in India. Her soulful voice is a pure blend of divinity and love that captivates audiences. With her debut song "Maula" in the film "Vaada," Kavita Seth's music journey began, and she has never looked back since. Her Bollywood chart-toppers include "Iktara" in Wake Up Sid, "Tum Hi Ho Bandhu" in Cocktail, "Prem Mein Tohre" in Begum Jaan, and "Maa" in Maatr, among others. Besides her successful career in Bollywood, she has also lent her voice to Hollywood's venture "Trishna" and rendered her vocals in the popular music-based TV show, Coke Studio. As a post-graduate in Hindustani Classical music, Kavita Seth shares pristine sufi renditions through her numerous music albums. She has carved a niche for herself in the industry, bagging several awards, including the prestigious Filmfare, IIFA, Stardust, Screen, and three awards by GIMA (Global Indian Music Academy). Kavita has performed successfully in more than 500 venues worldwide, proving that music knows no boundaries. She is an empanelled artist at ICCR for Sufi Music and has spread the message of love through music at various events, including Common Wealth Games- Qutub, Delhi, Aman Ki Asha organised by The Times of India, Lucknow Festival, Jodhpur RIFF (Rajasthani International Folk Festival), and many more. Kavita Seth has partnered with her son Kanishk for her album "Trance with Khusrow" released in 2014. Her latest dream project "Main Kavita Hoon" is an attempt to bring to the world her compositions of the precious works of timeless poets. The Live In Concert - Main Kavita Hoon is also available across digital platforms. Kavita’s dream is to take the property ‘Main Kavita Hoon’ across the globe to showcase her renditions of works of renowned poets like Bashir Badr, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Dipti Misra, Jagdish Prakash, and legends like Rumi, Bulleh Shah, Kabir, among others. Kavita Seth is a devout Sikh who has spoken and performed at various religious events. Her speeches and discourses are a source of spiritual teachings that showcase her belief in the teachings of Guru Granth Sahib. Her music style is devotional, with her voice effortlessly elevating the spirit of Gurbani, kirtan, and katha. Through her music, Kavita Seth spreads the message of love and spirituality.
