All India Pingalwara Charitable Society honors Amardeep Singh and Vininder Kaur, the creators of the Guru Nanak docuseries with the ‘2023 Manavta Sanman Award’ (Respect for Humanity Award 2023) on 5th August 2023. The 24 episode documentary series on the life and philosophy of Guru Nanak is freely available in four languages (EnglishGurmukhiHindiShahmukhi) on the website TheGuruNanak.com. On 18th October 2024, it will be released in Urdu language to cater to the spiritual needs of the Urdu speaking Nanakpanthi population that continues to reside in Sindh and Balochistan regions of Pakistan.

Satninder Singh Bodal, the lead vocalist, Mahabeer Singh, the Rabab instrumentalist and Datti Kaur, the artist of the theme artwork of the docuseries were also honored by the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society.

In the north Indian state of Punjab, All India Pingalwara Charitable Society is a home for destitute, founded in the year 1924 by the 19-year-old Ramji Das who later became famous as Bhagat Puran Singh. Presently, the Pingalwara Society is headed by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, recipient of Padma Bhushan, awarded by the Republic of India for a distinguished service without distinction of race, occupation, position or sex.
 

Earlier, on 14th November 2022, Hofstra University, USA had honored Amardeep Singh with the '2022 Guru Nanak Interfaith Prize', an award bestowed every two years to recognize significant work to increase interfaith understanding. A committee of faculty and administrators had unanimously chosen Amardeep Singh from among 18 nominees. Daniel Seabold, acting dean of Hofstra College of Liberal Arts and Sciences had stated, "the members considered several worthy organizations whose work is larger in scale but decided that an award to Mr. Singh would be more impactful." His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet, Tenzin Gyatso was the first winner of the Guru Nanak Interfaith Prize in 2008.

Amardeep Singh & Vininder Kaur are now dedicating the next five years of their lives to 'Guru Nanak Projects Phase 2', an effort aimed at creating a deeper understanding of Guru Nanak’s mission of ‘Oneness in Diversity’. Its content in 4 languages (English, Punjabi, Hindi & Urdu) will comprise three pillars, two documentaries and video-based educational content on the philosophy of Guru Nanak and the 15 diverse Indic Saints (Bhagats) enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib. Project descriptions and milestones are detailed below.

1) Documentary: ‘Elixir of Guru Nanak & the Indic Saints’: A 120-min documentary on concordance of Guru Nanak & the 15 Indic Saints of Bhakti & Sufi traditions enshrined in the Guru Granth Sahib.

2) Documentary: ‘Guru Nanak – An Introduction’: A short 45-minute documentary introducing two aspects - ‘Who Was Guru Nanak' & ‘What Guru Nanak Stands For’.

3) Self-Actualization Video-based Educational Content: Comprising 931 verses of Guru Nanak and 771 verses of the Indic Saints (Bhagats), to be recorded and presented in audio & video format in the ascribed Raags and supplemented with interpretations. To be made available through the web-based educational platform OnenessInDiversity.com.

Content developed under 'Guru Nanak Projects Phase 2' will also be offered freely with no monetization objective.
