The Sikh Spirit Foundation humbly announces the opening of its second application cycle of 2009 and humbly calls on the global community to submit their project proposals. Each proposal will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All proposals must be received by November 15, 2009. Interested applicants should send an email to [email protected].

Each proposal should be confined to a single project, although applicants are welcome to submit multiple project proposals.

In order to qualify for a grant from the Sikh Spirit Foundation, prospective partners – whether individuals or organizations – must demonstrate a commitment to charitable enterprise. All prospective partners are expected to submit proposals in accordance with the Grant Proposal Guidelines.

Established in 2004, the Sikh Spirit Foundation aims to advance the state of the global Sikh community. The Foundation offers its resources to individuals and organizations that initiate, engage with, and implement innovative and constructive project ideas. Project-oriented grants are given with the hope that financial support will help maximize the positive impact of volunteerism worldwide. The Foundation primarily supports the preservation and advancement of Sikh issues and seeks progress in all realms of Sikhi, from education and human rights to arts and culture.
