The next lecture in our SikhNet Scholar Series will be with Amardeep Singh on February 10th 8.00pm EST. The SikhNet Scholar Series is continuing  in 2 parts in 2023 with the first lectures running in January, February and March. 

On February 10th  Amardeep Singh will host a discussion on the insights gained from the making of the 24-episode documentary series on Guru Nanak.

Amardeep Singh's Docuseries received the coveted Guru Nanak Interfaith Prize awarded by Hofstra University and he was honored at a ceremony at Hofstra on November 14th, 2022.

“Allegory - A Tapestry of Guru Nanak’s Travels” is a 24-episode documentary series, sequentially exploring Guru Nanak’s life events to unfurl the deep imports of his messages. Filmed at over 150 multifaith sites in 9 countries, the documentary series is currently available in EnglishPunjabi (Gurmukhi) and Punjabi (Shahmukhi).  In 2023, the documentary series will also be released in Hindi and Urdu languages. 

In his lecture Understanding Guru Nanak through a docuseries  Amardeep Singh will talk about Guru Nanak, an embodiment of Oneness, a revolutionary spiritual teacher. Guru Nanak, born in 1469, traversed vast geographies for over two decades to visit congregational sites of diverse faiths with a noble interest in seeking and imparting universal fellowship.
