I am a Sikh American who has spent all of his life in Madison Wisconsin. I am a volunteer coordinator for Madison's Sikh Society. I am a senior at James Madison Memorial High School and I have worked with many Sikh Organizations in the United States. I have done writing and graphic design work with the World Sikh Organization and the Sikh Research Institute. I have also worked with many non-profit organizations such as Spartan Youth Service, which is a volunteering organization sponsored by Optimist International. I am also doing work with STAND, which is an organization determined to bring equality all over the world through local advocacy. The reason I do any of this is to spread Sikh awareness and to shed a light on the thoughts and relationships of a Sikh boy who has spent his life so far in Madison, Wisconsin.
