I soar up to the sky Like a kite in the wind Climbs heights beyond imagination Free And with beautiful wings.... Everywhere there is peace Every drop of dew on the green grass speaks It sparkles, as the sun Rises over the mountain peaks A birthday so special I am alive with gratitude As the year went by Every moment so beautiful The guru's grace is shining on me I thank you waheguru For a family so special I am blessed with parents So humble and kind Who guide me through life As I fall, and then climb Beyond comprehension With the guru's hand in mine...... My children are beautiful Caring and kind What would I have done If you had not blessed me With them In this lifetime of mine?  |
My brothers are wonderful Their families so kind I must have sown diamonds In my past life time To be blessed with them My protectors My supporters Thank you Waheguru oh divine! Everywhere there is bliss Everywhere bright sunshine It does not matter To be accepted in this world What matters is To hold the Guru close... I thank you Guru Nanak You are forgiving and kind You bless me despite My faults, oh Divine! May the Guru carry me over the river of this world Yes, only you, Guru Nanak Can do this miracle, and fold The book of my life As my chapter comes to a close.... May the bliss in this life Continue to heavens beyond.. May my soul travel in transition From this bliss To bliss beyond..... | |
